About the event
Our NEXT Plein air event is SUNDAY MAY 3 from 1-4. We are going to be on the beautiful historic MOORESVILLE, ALABAMA. Parking is available in the public area as you enter the little village. Bring your own gear to paint or draw. You may want to drive around first to scope out your spot and maybe even leave your gear then park.
Please be respectful of the residents and do not set up in their yards. Don"t miss the fun!!!!
The 1995 Disney movie Tom and Huck, starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Brad Renfro, was filmed in Mooresville, Alabama. The town served as the primary filming location to double for Hannibal, Missouri, due to its preserved 19th-century appearance.
